Man I just love all the movement in them, excuse the random pixels in there, the frames were uploaded striate into the animator, its just a quick way out of make different frames each time.

Good work on the drive train....will be waiting to see the finished piece, too. :D Love those old steam engines. :D Guess I'm old enough to still remember them before the diesel electrics were phased in, replacing steam. :D

I too have animated valve gear [link] and can appreciate the work involved. Well done. Looking forward to the finished piece.

Yours is greatly done!

What program did you make the frames and Loco in?

I drew the loco in Photoshop and set up all the frames there. I then dropped it into ImageReady to do the animation. The smoke has me a bit stumped, but if I ever work out a decent 8 frame loop then I might do some more work on it. Thanks for the fave.

Your welcome!

I use MSpaint and MS.gif animator for my stuff, but paint's terrible .gif compressor has me looking a photoshop for frame making.

I'm on a Mac, so MSpaint isn't an option for me (although I doubt it would be). I use PS for everything, it's really versatile.
